The length and width varies depending on whether singles or doubles are played in it. To separate the court into two sections, a net is placed exactly dividing the area into two equal halves. Racquet and Ball - The tennis racquet is different from a badminton racquet. This is tougher, which make it powerful, a hard grip known as the handle and with synthetic strings that are tightly attached to the frame. The ball use for playing is usually made of rubber with an optic yellow coating. The weight of the ball usually varies between 56 to 59 grams.
