AEROBUZZ 2014 Successfully Organised at MVJ College of Engineering

Tech fest AEROBUZZ 2014 is hosted by the Department of Aeronautical Engineering in MVJCE Bangalore.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Press Release) Oct 22, 2014 -- The Aeromodeling Club of Department of Aeronautical Engineering, MVJ College of Engineering had organised the Annual Department Technical Festival ‘AEROBUZZ’ for the 4th consecutive year on the 15th and 16th of October 2014. It was a unique two day event aimed at involving students of various streams interested in activities and competitions oriented towards the field of Aeronautics.

The main objective of the AEROBUZZ 2014 was to engage students in inspiring activities which acts as an essential platform to enhance the students’ know-how in the advanced field of Aeronautics. The competitions during the events includes: Water Rocketry, Remote Controlled Planes and Multi-Copters, Gliders, Technical Paper Presentation, Technical Poster Presentation, Tech Quiz, Aircraft Sketching CAED Quest which acted as a good manifesto for students to portray their talents and innovations.

The Fest saw a participation of 250 participants from MVJCE and Colleges around Karnataka which includes: VSM Aerospace (Agragami Group of Institutions), Blore. A C S College of Engg. Blore, New Horizon College of Engg., Blore, Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Blore, Shree Devi Institute of Technology, Mangalore, SCT Institute of Technology, Blore, Acharya Institute of Technolgy, Blore.

The event hosted an Invited Lecture on ‘Fatigue & Fracture Mechanics’ on day one delivered by Dr. V R Ranganath, Chief Scientist, National Aerospace Laboratories, Bangalore during the inauguration.

This AEROBUZZ 2014 ensured that it was a great conclave and one stop platform for congruence of all the ideas and innovations of students who have passion towards the stratum of Aeronautics.

The highlight of this AEROBUZZ 2014 was the top notch competition of RC-Fixed Wing & Multicopters that saw the participation of National Champions & RC Hobbying Experts.

The reason for the grand success of this fest is the support and encouragement from the Management and Principal of this College, The HOD-UG & PG & Faculties of the Department of Aeronautical Engineering and the Proud Sponsors: EDUCADD, Marthahalli Centre, We Educate Young India(WEYI)-An NGO of final year students of Department of Aeronautical Engineering, MVJCE Hydro Rocketry Club, MVJCE, Toshikon-Wireless and Automation Solution Provider, Print Field-Digital Partner & Edall Hobby-For their support in judging the RC-Fixed Wing & Multicopter Competition.

The AEROBUZZ 2014 concluded with the closing ceremony presided by Principal, Faculties and the Student Participants where the prizes where distributed and vote of thanks delivered

The progress of this tech fest AEROBUZZ hosted by the Department of Aeronautical Engineering, MVJCE has been phenomenon with every progressing year and only been an efficient and an able platform to inspire the budding engineers in the field of aeronautics in best possible way. The success of such an event goes to each and every individual who has played a role in the conduct of the event, Prize winners & the Student Participants.
