Our concern about filtering in this case

These will probably match the criteria to also obtain a reply redirecting them to 2007 Runescape when the intention was to post, which is not ideal as it would be irrelevant to this post topic and likely lead to complaints.

Our concern about filtering in this case is not whether someone will try to bypass it, and that remark was just to further the point that filters are not always effective. Perhaps mentioning the intentional bypassing was a bit off subject for my prior comment. As previously mentioned, the amount of OSRS-specific articles (not pertinent to RS3) submitted this is minimal as is, plus they don't amount to a prominent portion of our everyday articles. However, those posts are outnumbered by others which compare or link to both games.

These will probably match the criteria to also obtain a reply redirecting them to 2007 Runescape when the intention was to post, which is not ideal as it would be irrelevant to this post topic and likely lead to complaints. Additionally, if the criteria is too specific, it is improbable that the few articles that are designed to obtain this response will activate it. It's much easier for a person to identify these posts compared to a bot, and setting up it to work as planned is much simpler said than done for advantage.

Why are folks so poisonous to players? Wouldn't max and also the high players need visitors to playwith? More people = more money, more updates (maybe if more began playing, paying, and demanding it) and more people in Runescape sport that will increase the market and keep Runescape lasting more. Frankly, we handle players that are new nicely when they are tagged as such. Dig up any thread where the OP admits themselves as fresh and folks here actually pile the majority of the time.

It's older, returning veteran players who ask questions we handle badly. Unless they're asking about the state of Runescape(meaning they aren't spent in Runescape again nonetheless ), typically we bad mouth them about how they could possibly be asking whatever it is they're asking. The community is really wise. If somebody is uninvested in Runescape, everyone is full support. No one cares, if they spent.

So, I tardy into the party and I apologize for this. I think using a question thread would be very beneficial in the long run. However, it's more a matter of handling what the pinned topics are. Which is a bummer, Since we can only have 2 at a time. I responded to someone agreeing that we could begin making a single post that links to news/update posts are added as the week goes on and they are published to Runescape's website. And that suggestion was passed by me on to the remainder of the group. What we're doing now is a matter of,"What exactly do we think needs to be viewed the many?" Having it on upgraded as necessary and a single post could help resolve that issue.
