FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Abu Dhabi, UAE (25.03.2019) – War stricken Syria has left millions of people displaced who have found a new lease of hope in Jordan which have set up refugee camps to provide shelter, meals, and other basic needs to the homeless. Internationally renowned humanitarian charity non-governmental organization based in Geneva, University for Refugees, or more commonly known as UniRef which is committed to provide free education and vocational training to refugees has taken up a new mission of delivering higher education to more than 750,000 refugees in the Jordanian-Emirati camp in Jordan.

A project of such a massive scale needs unified efforts of various parties and thus UniRef has collaborated with Jordan Red Crescent and academic partner Al Isra University to offer proper University education as well as professional vocational training to these young refugees. The financial aid for this unique project has come from Al Badie Group who has partnered with the above parties in their common cause of providing quality education to these refugees and open up an array of future opportunities for them.

Al Badie Group’s management represented by Mr. Khaled Al Badie who is the CEO and president of the group is taking keen interest in this project and has even assigned the group’s COO Dr. Yaseen AlKamas who has been personally involved in this UniRef mission. This invaluable support of the company has greatly reduced the burden of UniRef in implementing this project which will provide a major advantage to the victims of war in the Middle East.
