Milwaukee, OCTOBER 20, 2020 - Emperor of funk music Robin Pitts is out with a new single "So Good" . Released just a few days ago, the single is already being heavily liked by music lovers, especially fans of funk music.
Coming from a family of musicians, Robin Pitts has come a long way with his musical career. Being the elder son of the very brilliant Afro-American drummer and singer Vic Pitts and leader of the group "Vic Pitts and The Cheaters", Robin Pitts has soaked himself in American Black music since a very young age. At the age of 18, he found his first band with his father, brother and cousin his - "Power Funk Family". It is with them he performed at the Miles Davis Hall Montreux Jazz Festival. The fact that his musical pedigree is strong is evident from the facts that not only his father, brother and cousin were musicians but also his great-grandmother, who was a trombonist and his grandmother, who was a jazz pianist.
"I'm truly ecstatic and over the moon with the response I've been getting. Plenty of congratulations and positive feedback has come my way since "So Good" was released. Many have thanked me for bringing back funk music to the limelight. Well, thanks to the family tree I belong to that has produced only good music, I possess those genes. I have been raised around Gospel, Soul and Funk music all my life. So I know what it takes to makes funky music, and good funk music.
My two first EP’s are available online to listen and download and I will be releasing several solo and collaboration singles this year. I'm looking forward to again receiving the love and grace of music lovers", said Robin Pitts.
