Weishida is Basic Copper Carbonate,Cuprous Chloride Manufacturer;Basic copper sulphate is a copper preparation processed by dispersing basic copper sulfate, water, an auxiliary agent, etc.

Could anyone kindly explain me the reaction of Copper Acetate(WSDTY) and NaOH? Where does the Sodium Acetate disappears leaving behind black colour CuO precipitate. According to reports Sodium acetate is colourless salt, but during the preparation where does it go?

Sodium acetate being water soluble remains in solution and it appears you are reacting copper Acetate with NaOH in aqueous medium. Sodium acetate will remain in solution. If solution is basic then you will get Cu(OH)2 precipitate. But, acetate will manage the acidic pH due to formation of acetic acid (proton from water). Several reports are available for formation CuO nanoparticles from starting components Cu(Acetate)2 and NaOH.

There are 2 types of copper acetate: CH3COO-Cu+ & (CH3COO)22- Cu2+. Both of them are water-soluble. I do not think that they will react in the same way with NaOH. Probably one of them forms CuO & the other forms Cu2O. The oxides may proceed to form hydroxides. The attached research paper claimed getting a dark brown colored solution but, unfortunately, it did not specify which copper acetate hydrate was used in the experimental procedure.
