HMK Entertainment (HMK Ent.) is an underground Hip Hop talent, engineering, recording, & production company. HMK Ent. was founded in 2000 by Chris “KID” Robinson. With a desire to be in control of his music and career, KID began producing albums and expressing his entrepreneurial spirit within the St. Louis underground Hip Hop scene.

Having a life-long ear for music as a classically trained musician, a B.A. in Audio Production from Webster University, and the practical experience under an apprenticeship of his Uncle Steve (Big Steve Jones of Death Row Records, Loud Records, Interscope Records and MCA Records) throughout his youth, he felt confident in developing HMK Ent. as an avenue for himself as well as others to express themselves musically. KID has received engineering credit on commercially released albums and worked with several national recording artists such as Ron Isley, David Banner, Lil Scrappy, Jibbs, Murphy Lee, Huey, Ebony Eyez, etc.
