In the new and the hyped edition, when you begin to shoot with the buttons, then a Shot Meter will appear above your head like in 2K19. However, the objective is no longer to fill this up entirely. Rather, you are going to want to launch once the'ticker' reaches the highlighted yellow section within the bar. It'll be in another spot based on your player's skill level, your position on the court and how heavily contested the play is.

Nonetheless, you are going to want to release once in'the yellow'. If you time it just right, and the circumstances around you are good, you'll flash green: ensured points. A little off and it is likely to be what the Houston Rockets group does mostly, projecting a brick. Tack!

If you are waiting to get your hands on NBA 2K21, you will not need to wait considerably longer as developer Visual Concepts and 2K have revealed that the current-gen demonstration will release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch August 24th. That is just over a week before the name releases across those programs along with PC and Google Stadia on September 4th, therefore it should be a lot of time to decide whether it is worth the purchase.

But to be clear, this is by no way a demo for the next-gen consoles, PlayStation 5 and Xbox collection X. Given that neither are out yet, or even have definitive release dates, that shouldn't exactly be a surprise. Alongside the current-gen demo date, Visual Concepts also detailed a series of improvements coming into the title too, which you can check out from the developers' site on the subject. NBA 2K21 is currently scheduled to release on September 4th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Google Stadia. PlayStation 5 and Xbox collection X versions are also announced, though neither of these has a definitive launch date as of yet.
