World-Events: Something related to the Sixth-Age (perform the quests I stated to understand this) where Gods fight each other in Gielinor, together with the winner determined by the gamers. The first one was the Battle of Lumbridge which featured Zamorak v. Saradomin (Saradomin won), the next that is currently taking place is that the Bird and the Beast that is Bandos v. Armadyl (the loser of this event dies). That is all that I can think of now, but those are a majority of the major upgrades to the game. I want to upgrade my melee weapons. Right now my best is a BGS, that can be embarrassing for somebody my level. I was originally thinking about going for chaotics, however, drygores are crashing and may actually be within my budget. So I need your advice. Here is a bit about me: I hate dungeoneering. Usually I solo because I can't stand teams. This decreases my xp/hr sadly. I've 87k tokens. I have never gotten 2m xp (which could be needed to get 200k tokens). If I were to get chaotics, I would need to double the experience I have up to the point.

Drygores is much better on all fronts, the real question is money. Can you make enough inside the time drygores degrades to keep up with repairs and will you make your cash back and take buying them as a reduction (due to the fact they are decreasing in price and will in anticipation for absolutely any future melee upgrades ). Prices are a bit more stable now, but I for one still haven't given in to the drygore craze...

I see the damage output and it is substantial, do not get me wrong, but for someone like me which may only do the odd slay task per day or perhaps every few days, I do not see spending the money worthwhile. If you would like to combat/boss I suggest go for the big time.
