06th May, 2015, Dubai: Fleming Gulf's Real Time Communication 2015 Summit opened today at the Habtoor Grand Beach Resort & Spa Hotel, and attracted many IT professionals from across the region congregate to share and learn new methods and strategies backed by insights and data on what‘s next in the Real Time Communication arena. The summit saw both technical presentations and business impact studies that reinforces the need for investments and adoption of real time communication systems that directly impact business outcomes. Deep Banerjee, producer of the summit said "With the technologies improving dramatically and rapidly, low-cost and simple platforms for real-time communication will become an essential part of the way we communicate with each other. Day 1 of the summit kicked-off with the opening remarks from the summit chairman - Dr. Mustafa Qurban, Assistant Military Hospitals Director in Eastern Province for ICT and Director IT at KFMMC, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a keynote session on 'Real-Time Communications — Present and Future Roadmap' by Roland Abi Najem, IT & Social Media Consultant, Ministry of Information, Kuwait. Among other technical presentations and panel discussions that followed through the day; 'Web-GIS Application to Support On-line e-Wayleave Clearance System' by Eng Khalid A. Hameed Al Hammadi, Director of GIS, Central Informatics Organisation(CIO), Kingdom of Bahrain; 'Customer experience and engagement' by Fraz Chishti, Chief Innovation Officer, Noor Bank, UAE; 'Digital Disruption – Can you survive in a Real Time World?' by Vijay Jaswal, CTO, Middle East & Turkey, Software AG, UAE; and 'The Coming Evolution of Embedded RTC' by Natasha Tamaskar, VP, Head of Strategy and Ecosystems, KANDY, GenBand, United States of America; highlighted the proceedings of the first day along with a panel discussion on 'Making the Mobile work in Real Time for you' by the top IT experts from across the region.
Day 2 of the summit will commence with an opening keynote presentation on 'Role of IT in improving quality in service delivery, in Healthcare Licensing' by Ms. Ayesha Al Falahi, Acting Head of Registration and Accreditation Section, Dubai Health Authority, UAE. Other presentations will include 'Innovations in ICT Technologies' by Prof N K Goyal, President CMAI Association of India, Chairman Emeritus TEMA, Member Governing Council Telecom Equipment & Services Export Promotion Council, Govt. of India, India; 'Cloud Security' by Ajay Rathi, Head of IT, Meraas Holding, UAE; 'Increasing the adaptability of Real Time Communication' by Dr. Oualid (Walid) Ben Ali, Assistant Professor, Founder and Director of the GIS center of Sharjah University, UAE; 'A Geospatial Perspective on Remote Sensing Analytics' by Haitham Almallah, Head GIS Department at Jordanian Electric Power Company, Jordan; and 'Real time Security for Real time communication' by Mahmoud Yassin, Manager - Data Center Group IT Division , National Bank of Abu Dhabi, UAE. The summit will conclude with a panel discussion on 'Real Time Communication as an enabler : Supporting enterprise innovation and transformation' that will see the audience and panelists delve into new areas of real time integrations within the sector.
