ZCorum, an industry leader in the deployment of managed diagnostics tools and software for broadband providers, announced today that M SAT Cable has signed an agreement for the use of TruVizion , ZCorum’s patented cross platform monitoring and diagnostics application for DOCSIS, Fiber and DSL networks. The web-based tool integrates customer information, network metrics and other data useful for troubleshooting broadband issues so that operators are better able to resolve customer issues and network outages.

M SAT Cable was founded in 1994 as one of Bulgaria’s first cable operators. They now pride themselves on being one of the largest operators in the nation and on running their own fiber optic network.

Prior to signing with ZCorum, the Bulgarian provider had not used monitoring or diagnostic support tools, but was actively looking to implement a solution. “M SAT Cable found us on the Web and were immediately interested in trying out the product,” said Arthur Skinner, Vice President of Worldwide Sales at ZCorum. “After they saw the positive impact TruVizion had on troubleshooting their DOCSIS network and devices, they decided this was the solution for them.”

M SAT Cable will also receive TechVizion , the companion mobile app for TruVizion. The app gives technicians in the field the ability to look into any modem on a subscriber’s network, at any time, from anywhere. TechVizion also has the ability to show EMTA and port statistics, historical data and comparisons, device locations and CMTS statistics.
