The 12-and-under girls team is filled with smiles as it receives new gear.

Puerto Penasco, Mexico - The Divas have done good. Team Divas -- the girls 12-and-under soccer squad -- is now taking the field with new cyclinders, cones, shin guards, gloves, and shoes. "The equipment has been donated with the help of Raine Hansen and Arizona rock band singer, Roger Clyne," said Rick Busa.

The president of the Youth Sports Foundation of Puerto Penasco -- who delivered the equipment to the girls at the soccer sports unit on June 13, 2016 in the oval-- was greeted with joy and enthusiasm. Director Marisol Cruz was on hand at the facility to help deliver the gear. "This equipment will be specifically used to help the team with its training."

The girls are not the only ones who received new equipment. The Youth Sports Foundation of Puerto Penasco also presented baseball gear -- including bats, gloves, helmets, and pants to Bryan "Chicharito" Portillo. The gear is going to benefit a select team from Puerto Penasco that will participate on a national stage of the Olympic Games in Piedras Negras, Coahuila. The Youth Sports Foundaton of Puerto Penasco also donated a pair of football boots to a select football team representing Sonora in the City of Mexico.
