Before he made his video, he did a quick search on google because he wanted to recommend some tips for a friend of him who wanted to start an oil field job.

His friend admired Michael a lot for the fact that he had a very successful career, having been employed for over 8 years in the oil field industry, and because Michael had become a driller and was making over $100.000 per year while working only 6 months out of 12, he decided to start working an offshore oil rig job.

Because Michael was away in vacation and they only talked on skype, he wanted to give his friend some links in which he could find companies where to apply for entry level oil rig jobs. Because he used a great recruitment agency when he started, Michael wanted his friend to follow the same job application process.

So, since he did not find anything reliable in his google search, he decided to come back and taught his friend how to create a powerful resume and a cover letter, and recommended his friend to apply using the same agency that helped him.

In 6 days, he was asked for an interview and was proposed a roustabout job paying him $54.000 per year.

That was the moment when Michael decided that he will create a video in which he will explain exactly how he became a driller making top $$$ while only working 6 months out of 12.
