Actress Germany Kent has been confirmed to be a presenter at next month's prestigious International Trailblazer Awards. The media personality, social activist and philanthropist, has joined the list of stars who will be handing out the prizes at the ceremony.

Kent, a multi-faceted trailblazer, who is a professional speaker, social media etiquette expert, and trusted media resource, is a influential social media personality who has been named one of the Top 100 individuals in social media marketing.

Jaby Inc., the producer of the awards show, announced Kent’s participation, via Facebook.

A post on the official International Trailblazer Awards account read: “We are happy to announce that Ms. Germany Kent will be a celebrity presenter at the 2017 International Trailblazer Awards.”

The International Trailblazer Awards recognizes ordinary people doing outstanding things in the community while raising funds to send children to college.

2017 Honorees include Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, Tampa Bay Buccaneers Player Brent Grimes, Greenleaf's Lamman Rucker, DeKalb Superior Court Judge Gregory A. Adams, Fairfield Baptist Church Pastor Michael Benton, Apostle Tim Atunnise, Atlanta Voice Publisher Janis L. Ware, Junior Chef Lauryn Strong, Marine Veteran Col. William Cunningham, and Veteran Newscaster Ken Watts.

Kent, a bestselling and multi award-winning author, has been featured on Criminal Minds, Jessie, Graceland and in dozens of national commercials including starring in advertisements for Nike, Verizon, Coors Light, AT&T, Carrier, eHarmony and Disney. For her professional accomplishments, Kent has been honored with a Global Philanthropy Award from Empower Magazine, featured in Inc. Magazine, Fast Company, The Examiner and countless others.

Kent, a Mississippi native, was recently named to the Hall of Fame at North Panola High School, becoming the first person to be inducted. She will be honored on July 22 with a Woman of the Year award at the Faith Awards.

The International Trailblazer Awards will be handed out July 16 at the Porter Sanford Performing Arts Center in Decatur, Georgia.
