Telekinetics is the more popular of the two specs, and does the highest overall dps. It has some good alternative talent choices to use for some boss fights, as well as such good Force regeneration that you will essentially have an infinite resource pool for dpsing, and great support for off-healing.
Balance has one of the simplest rotations in the game, yet has a rather limited resource pool to manage. This means you’ll be forced to use Noble Sacrifice for Force and therefore need some extra healing, which may or may not be a problem for your healers, depending on the group. This spec is also less effective as an off-healer compared to Telekinetics, and for most fights will generate less dps overall than its counterpart.
