The goods and chattels we use at home are made of plastic. Almost every usable item in the home is made of it, moreover the food and hygienic products are packed under it to keep them safe from germs. The most important and hardly resistible things like car, laptop and mobile phone are made of it. Many of you might chew on it every day in the form of gum. Your thirst quenching water bottles and food containers are all made of it. In simple words, we can say that our life is like an empty vessel if no plastic materials based goods are there.

Do you know many forms of plastic cannot be recycled whereas some forms can be recycled, but that too up to a few set of times? You might have heard that most of the plastic is recyclable because it is touted in this way. The real face is some bit different where plastic is down-cycled. Most of the food and goods you can buy in your own containers. Make it a healthy habit.
Try to avoid frozen foods because they are packaged in huge plastics.
If you have kids in the family then try to use cloth diapers instead of plastic made.
Try to avoid disposables if not in an emergency. Disposable products are the biggest source of pollution that attracts dangerous bees and insects.
