General information on OSRS Sarachnis

OSRS Sarachnis is a brand new mid-level boss which will be introduced to Forthos Dungeon. It can be unlocked by handing in all 3 completed tattered tomes to the Arceuus Library, when the new miniquest In Search of Knowledge is completed. Sarachnis is aimed at players around 100 combat who want to try their hand at bossing. It will have a high resistance to ranged and magic attack styles.

Unique drops from OSRS Sarachnis boss

Some unique drops can be obtained after killing Sarachnis, including the Giant Egg Sac and Sarachnis’ cudgel:
1. OSRS Giant Egg Sac
OSRS Giant Egg Sac can be cut open for around 100 red spider eggs, with players expected to receive around 2 per hour. Currently, these are usually obtained from the Nightmare Zone or the Tower of Life. A new spider boss offers a more fitting and engaging way of acquiring this resource, at a lower average rate than one gets from the Tower of Life.
2. OSRS Sarachnis’ cudgel
Requiring 65 attack to wield, OSRS Sarachnis’ cudgel is a new weapon will not compete with the Abyssal whip effectively based on its stats but will be useful against Sarachnis, given its low crush defence. This weapon will be 4 tick and it would not be better than the Zamorakian hasta - an intentionally more powerful crush weapon.
