OSRS Warding is a proposed mage armour production skill that teaches players the art of making magical equipment, items, and tools from wizards. Recently some significant changes have been made to this new skill.

Significant changes to OSRS Warding

According to the recent official blog, here are some significant changes made to the Warding Skill:
-BattleWards removed
-Venomous Armour removed
-Kinhunter Armour removed
-Cosmos Armour removed
-Steatite and Wardstones removed
-Vis variants reduced from 12 to 5
-Channeling lamp variants reduced from 3 to 1
-Imbues to be added to Warding as an additional method of obtaining it
-Addition of new reward suggestions
-Addition of Ward Shops
-Oversaturated Farming methods for resource gathering now added to Hunter
-Addition of charts on skill training loops
-Addition of XP Rates
-Combination Runes removed
-Committing to beta testing during the development process

OSRS Warding beta in the future

As a new skill will have a huge effect on the game, the develop team is committing to at least one (and likely multiple) beta(s) which will be accessible to all players. OSRS Warding beta will ensure you are able to play the content and give your feedback in real time, similarly to the Last Man Standing beta that’s currently in action. The team would also look to address any rewards and supporting content during the beta testing.
The development of the skill will be completely collaborative between the Old School development team and community. This beta will enable players to work with the team on the details so that they can make a skill players want and that players can be proud to play.
