OSRS system update with reboot on Jan. 1st

According to the Old School official Tweets and news post, OSRS Game Worlds have been rebooted to solve various issues players have been experiencing on January 1st, 2020. This OSRS system update has been complete on that day, lasting for about 30 minutes.
The develop team was aware of many pieces of content having some issues on the first day of 2020, with content such as Vorkath, Tears of Guthix and Grotesque Guardians. The issue seemed to be related to how long the game worlds have been open for without a reboot, with an entity limit being hit. Normally this wouldn't be a problem as there is a game update weekly. Following on from this the team has been investigating that issue itself to prevent it happening in the future.

What to do if there are still in-game bugs?

The issues have been resolved with this OSRS update. If you still experiencing bugs when playing Old School RS, you can report them via the in-game report button located at the bottom of your chat box.
