What is trailblazer boon OSRS task?

According to the latest official news post, if you haven’t yet completed the “Complete 200 slayers tasks” task before the update on December 9th, you will be given 250 bonus League Points. Upon logging into a League world and opening the Task List, you will see a new trailblazer boon task OSRS appear as complete and will be granted the extra points.

Why is trailblazer boon task added?

In last week’s update, the develop team has resolved an issue where a task for completing 200 Slayer tasks wasn’t showing as complete. This issue was caused by having two of the same task in the Task List, and the correct task still appeared incomplete. To fix it, the team has simply removed the Twisted League version of the task. However, any players who’d already completed the task in question now had an extra 250 League Points, as they’d technically completed two tasks. Therefore, the team decided to resolve this problem by giving everyone who hasn’t yet completed the Slayer task 250 bonus League Points.
You can still complete the correct task after doing this, which will give you the intended 250 points in addition to the 250 bonus ones.
