Is bone good for my dog ?
1. You have heard that dogs love to chew bone and you also herd that bones are dangerous for dogs.

3. Giving a bone is dangerous to dogs but if you follow some simple rules it can be safe and healthy for your dog.

Do:
1. Give your dog beef bone or lamb bone because they are naturally harder than most other types of animal bones, making them more difficult for dogs to break down.
2. Give the bone after a meal. A less hungry dog is less likely to chew and swallow a bone quickly.
3. Give bone to chew only for 10 to 15 minutes.
4. Refrigerate bones when not in use. Dispose them out after three to four days. This reduces the chances of contamination.
5. Do supervise your dog when you give him a bone. Don’t leave your dog to chew a bone alone.
Don’t:
1. Don’t give you dog cooked bones of any kind. Because cooked bones are easily break and splintered which cause esophageal injury and chocking so i would recommend to give raw meat bones.
2. Don’t let your dog chew any kind of bone into small pieces it causes gastro intestinal instructions so Give a whole bone longer than size of muzzle which is impossible to swallow and choked.
3. Don’t give rib bone they get easily splintered and cause injury.
4. Don’t give a bone to Dog which have a restorative dental work he have risk for dental breakage.
5. Don’t give bone of chicken, turkey and pork because this bones easily break and splinter especially when bone is cooked. This can cause your dog to choke from bones getting caught in their throat.
