New Generation of Cars Renault Duster May lose the Diesel Engines

So far there is little information update of Duster, but new data have already started coming from countries where the model is developing in a similar scenario. Diesel engines on the crossover may become a thing of the past due to environmental standards.

In fact, Renault Duster is still not updated. Our model has undergone a slight restyling, but the technical part has not changed. In Europe, the second generation model is available, and the third one should immediately arrive there, or something away from the main line of development of the Duster. In India and Brazil, the model is developing in a similar way with us, and so far we can focus on these countries.

According to Car and Bike, the third-generation Renault Duster will not have diesel modifications. At least in the version intended for emerging markets. They offer only petrol options. For Europe, the used car company carzaamin com can come up with modern hybrid versions.

The most interesting thing is that the main development of the third generation of the Renault Duster is conducted in India, but production will be organized only in four countries: Brazil, Colombia, Russia and Indonesia.

Now in Russia, the Duster is offered with a diesel engine - a 1.5-liter “aspirated” capable of developing up to 109 horsepower. Paired with it offers a 6-speed manual transmission, as well as all-wheel drive as an option.
