5D cinema hardware and software complex is a comprehensive solution for management of 5D movie theatre and production of 5D video clips. The technology is powered by Windows 7 and enables for controlling via touch screen. The functionality of the software gives control over the number of simultaneously operating platforms.
Promwad Innovation Company was responsible for implementation of the following development activities: graphic user interface design, software and hardware development, prototyping, product’s testing and debugging. The solution suggested by Promwad’s specialists incorporated software for controlling the movie theatre, controllers for electric motors management across mobile platforms and software for production of 5D clips.
5D cinema technology is empowered by the Cortex M3 STM32F103 microprocessor to process and produce control signals. The software also incorporates the Qt. 4.7 cross-platform library and an open-source image processing module OpenCV 2.1.
Software interface design was implemented in adherence to customers’ requirements. The interface is finger-controlled and provides support for XGA and FullHD.
