Kids yoga book author Giselle Shardlow is ushering in spring in style with the release of her latest book, Rachel's Day in the Garden.

Educators across the board agree - the earlier a child can be encouraged to love both the outdoors and healthy movement, the better. Kids Yoga Stories author Giselle Shardlow has taken this advice to heart. She recently announced the expansion of the long list of fun and exciting kids yoga books for kids available at Kids Yoga Stories , which now includes a series based on the changing seasons. The first release is titled Rachel's Day in the Garden . Written by Shardlow, the book is illustrated by the extremely talented Hazel Quintanilla. Aimed at children aged three to six, it has been met with open arms.

“We all agree that yoga for kids is an amazing thing, so naturally, we were inspired to combine yoga with outdoor fun and exploration,” commented Shardlow, who in addition to being a published author, is a certified yoga instructor with a long history of working as a child educator. “Video games and television aren’t the beginning and end of fun. There’s a whole world of fun out there! Our new series of stories was written with the hope of sharing the fun of kids yoga, a love of animals, and enjoying the seasons to their fullest.”

Kids Yoga Stories has released over a dozen yoga books for kids available in five different languages so far. Yoga for kids delivers a long list of benefits, including an increase in strength and flexibility. It offers children a way to relax and relieve stress, to build confidence, and express themselves. Yoga for kids is the perfect way to play together in any weather. Winter, summer, and fall books in the series are coming soon.
