Park Systems Europe, A Scanning Thermal Microscope Specialist, Announce The Annual Nanoscientific Forum Europe In 2021.

The fourth Annual NanoScientific Forum Europe is to be hosted by the Institute of Physical Chemistry, University Freiburg by Dr Thorsten Hugel and Dr Bizan Balzer from September 15 to 17, 2021. Scanning probe microscopy is growing, along with atomic force microscopy, due to the powerful nanoscale imaging and measurements that they can provide, along with versatility when it comes to applications for chemistry to life sciences.

The event will bring a leading group of experts together on a wide range of topics, along with fantastic networking opportunities, combined with an exciting social program. Atomic Force Microscopy has become one of the most versatile tools when it comes to the investigation of material surfaces at the micro and nanoscale. Applications include topographical to mechanical, chemical, magnetic and electrical.

The annual NanoScientific Forum Europe for this year will be an in-person event in Freiburg Germany, where researchers in several scanning probe microscopy fields will come together. The event includes lectures on AFM applications, lectures for young scientists to present research projects to poster sessions. It also includes hands-on sessions on the Park Systems AFM instruments, helping attendees learn how to perform several AFM techniques.

The program for this years even follows the latest research topics and trends, when it comes to improving living standards today and in the future. It focuses particularly on nanoscale functional materials, including semiconductors, organics, hybrids, nano and biomaterials and more. There is a special session planned to focus on nanotribology using scanning probe microscopy and its applications.

Keibock Lee, the President at Park Systems, said “The annual NanoScientific Forum Europe is an open forum that focuses on sharing and exchanging the latest cutting edge research for materials and licence sciences using AFM products. This is a very popular event that we sponsor, along with NanoScientific. This year we are excited to provide hands-on demonstrations, where attendees can try our applications for themselves, learning how to perform a host of AFM techniques.”
