French is the tenth most widely-spoken language in the world. It is the official language of 29 countries in the world and it is spoken by 250 million people around the world understand, speak, read or write French and the language is the mother tongue of 85 million people and 170 million people are nonnative French speakers. French is the official language of some of the biggest organizations' like FILA, UNESCO, International Red Cross, etc. It has been found that French is the most widely taught second language after English and in India, many high schools teach it as a second language to the students.

Most of the MNC'S are from France and gives opportunities to the students to make their career in the French language. Economically, France is Europe's foremost investor abroad. France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany have the smallest rates of inflation in the European Union as compared to other countries. This is a signal of the health of these countries. France is the fourth largest country in terms of world power and it does not have the debt problems facing many other major industrialized nations.
