In light of this release of this Daeyalt essence mine, could the normal character mine be reworked to give more pure essence each hour through a combination of rising the mining speed, making it a searchable source that's traded in for pure character and/or including a deposit box into the essence mine. As it stands currently essence mining is not even a fantastic alternative for ironmen as a source of obtaining pure essence, Temple Trekking and PvM provides much more character per hour in addition to the incentives to do those activities.
I believe that it makes more sense thematically and from RuneScape equilibrium standpoint to possess the character mine be the default alternative for gamers. Additionally, as Daeyalt essence mining was polled instead to standard pure character that doesn't increase general exp per hour once you account for mining time, buffing traditional essence mining this manner would be required for pure essence to be a feasible option to Daeyalt essence for gamers amassing their own character.
The way I view nature is that each and every form that is increasing replaces the usage of the last. Nobody uses regular rune essence (outside of possibly f2p ironmen or some thing ). And out of lava runes, character is replaced by daeyalt. Considering that Zulrah and NMZ nobody has ever mined pure character, and more monsters drop it than ever. Hell you do not even need to manage your own runes anymore in the first place, just farm Zalcano or maybe drakes if you want natures. It's a true shame every time that they destroy by incorporating sources of skilling stuff to pvm loot skilling.
Essence that was rune and pure character was the same thing, they have been divided to a character which can be used in P2P and temperament that may be utilised to combat F2P bots. By adding methods to flood and farm, A decision that has been undermined RuneScape with essence faster compared to mining bots ever could, such as NMZ. Leading to the current paradoxical scenario where pure essence costs than rune essence.
You're correct, it's a real shame and this proposal is aimed at making the skilling process at least viable again for at least ironmen. It's a small ask, but it's pretty clear that the simple fact that PvM has ruined and swallowed everything else in RuneScape is never likely to be addressed. The boss slayer blog is simply further evidence that this is actually the direction RuneScape is currently going to last in.
