I remember someone even inquiring on those forums,"If there is just 1 Xmas cracker abandoned in most Runescape, what do you think it will be worth" I believe the response is, it is going to be worth whatever worth to the individual that owns it - because there'll not be any additional ones.

Post some of your ideas on items that are discontinued. P.S.. While training at lessers, a Runescaper was telling me about the costs of runes 6 decades ago (she hasn't played for some time ). I said"That is quite a while ago". She then replied that she had been about RS for more than 6 decades, she had been around for Runescape Classic: ). I inquired,"Did you get any holiday items (e.g. Xmas cracker)?" She said she had 500 party hats and 30 santa hats inside her first Runescape account. . She replied that she has those things in her original account, but she forgot the password to this account. And then I fainted (just joking).

Ahead of the dungeoneering update and the benefits that came with it, imo the walnut shortbow has been the most frequently encountered bow utilized. People cited reasons such as a fast attack rate and reasonable harm as reasons as to why they picked it on walnut. Users of walnut longbows were indeed few and far between, I myself only chanced upon a maple longbow consumer when I was at Clan Wars FFA. (As a matter of fact, he used the longer range of the longbow to take me while my shortbow could not reach him).

Users of different varients of bows like the crossbow were even fewer, with all the composite bows being a luxury item that couple 60+'s managed to manage. Crossbows were used sometimes in clan wars by individuals wielding it along with a shield, but I seldom saw composite bows being wielded. So, this was how it stood before the update (in my opinion). Most damage per hit: Maple long, exact style, assuming similar arrows were utilized. Most cost efficient: Either maple long or walnut short. Most damage over time: Maple short.

Best overall bow in my view: Willow comp (Mainly because I bought one and liked the mix of extra attack at the expense of speed, but not as slow as a longbow, using a great bonus range) However, with the latest dungeoneering upgrade, it seems like Just About the Gaming EXperience (aka Jagex) determined that the maple longbow was under-utilized. Together with the longbow sight now employed, it provides a hefty bonus of +110 range strike bonus in addition to the regular bonuses a maple longbow has. I'd like to find out what the reactions of the Sal's community are roughly like. Would this upgrade make longbows much more popular due to their higher harm, and maybe even the most popular bow being calmed? Can it make comp. Bow users even less due to more people switching to sighted longbows?
