The name might seem like clickbait, but after testing this on multiple paths I can confirm that magic bow+ snipers would be the best sort of pure offensive magic in Three Houses. Let us start off with another courses that are magic. Offensive magic in Three Houses tends to suck, to put it bluntly, after the earlygame. Offensive spells very seldom dual enemies, and have a tendency to chip off damage, which, as a character progresses into the lategame of Three Homes, is not as necessary due to all the kill boss maps Madden 21 has. In fact, during the lategame it is usually better to kill an enemy outright, especially since the offensive mages are probably so squishy that enemies ORKO them.

I will concede that Luna Lysithea is a good variant of an offensive mage, but she needs gardening boosters to help OHKO. Same with a lot of other mages. So I have explained why mages are usually lackluster, but I have to explain how they are outperformed by a course. The thing is, combat arts are broken. Especially, Sniper's Hunter's Volley and Grappler's Fierce Iron Fist are excellent on Maddening because they're guranteed to double in a predicament where doubling certain enemy types like Swordmasters, Assassins, and Grapplers requires very hard speed thresholds, while the listed combat arts simply ignore the speed stat.

Nonetheless, these are not courses that are magic. The truth is, the magical bowand aura gauntlets are weapons which function like charms, as the unit attack stat is used by them and attack the enemies' resistance stat. When combat arts are in use and, these properties are retained. So, though a standard attack in the magic bow+ is going to function exactly the exact same manner that a spell generally does. It is going to chip away near half of their enemies' health, and leaves a unit that is squishy. However, with Hunter's Volley, the mage's low rate stat is discounted, so all the sudden the mage stops dealing chip damage and is able to ORKO most of the enemies they see on player phase.
