This was a good read. It has been a long time since those things occurred. I remember the time we had the clan wars in the wilderness, the rectangular building in the east, together with the portals to different modes. I'm pretty sure everyone used to lagg there. However runescape has shifted, that's definitely true. The current condition of the wilderness is pretty depressing, therefore some change is required, I think everyone can agree about that, irrespective of what shift it is.Also with invention and BIS items, losing that gear and perks is simply not viable, you could be losing weeks of progress. Long ago were your risking dclaws as the item.

I have to concur that this system will reduce the high-end pking drops, so you won't smite a nox weapon, and I don't see reclaim cost, even at 200%, moving beyond 20m. I hope that's offset with many more people to pk, and those folks actually carrying more than 1 item together. The only 200m kill per month versus a couple of 2m kills an hourfor example.And while this doesn't protect luring completely (giving somebody completely geared for ED1 a teletab to the wilderness and killing them there's still a possibility), at least they will wind up a few mill down instead of their lender gone. Dying skulled with tect and a sos without shielding any of these would still be an fall to reclaim cost.

I read the arguments and I understand that the present system + eoc is poor but I dont think this is the right solution. Mainly because if this change happens whats going to make people take t80-90 over the current dirt cheap t70-75? All of this shift is gunna do is make them take over 3 items (4 with protect item) t75, it's less pvp damage reduction which issues more than armour score. So what this does is for individuals doing combat, they keep their drops and pay barely anything for it, and skillers who dont take anything pay ~100 gp to maintain everything.

If I had been doing wildy slayer, I would likely take my BIS weapon, and slayer-specific body and legs, very similar to my regular slayer. Those would be the items I'd protect at no cost. Currently I'd be too scared to receive skulltricked and smited to bring my BIS weapon alone. Additionally, LotD, AoS and other gear easily adds up to 1.2m beyond the wilderness as well as also my afking has proved twice now, which would equate to some 2.4m fall for the pker.Now if you are actually after power coaching, wildy slayer is your best option.
