Jagex has to do something with Runescape match to bring into a Runescape player foundation. Majority of Runescape players are veterans, not many new people. That's exactly what they are doing with mobile. Its the newest Runescape players we need but not necessarily the newest Runescape gamers we want.Correction, it is a lot of vets just playing on mobile in addition to desktop, not the newest Runescape players we need.

IOS betas can operate with a max of users that are 10k, for 60 days. This isn't Jagex's fault. It's Apple's limitations on Test Pilot. They could have dropped a beta just like two years ago with Android.. They are better off using Android to check and finalise everything. Before they want to release the final iOS version, shed an iOS beta right.

The simple fact that Android/Google Play Store does not have this limitation, means that Jagex have had an invaluable opportunity to operate on the mobile version together with the community. Mobile has turned into a long way. It was totally different. It's amazing now. When your iOS model comes out, it will be ready and polished. Not Test Pilot, test Flight. Been working at work with a Test Pilot system. Stuck in my brain.

This is where communication could have helped them. Only putting out a message stating that there were restrictions on beta testing on iOS, might have helped them a little. It feels like Android has been the platform that is forgiving. So they have chosen to place all their design and efforts to this model. So when it's as good as they can get it, they replicate it into iOS, and also do a short beta prior to final release. Without any communication from them we can't confirm the reason.

I was a part of the OSRS beta on IOS, and that I can not be for certain but it felt much longer then 60 or 90 days? It may be exactly what some folks said when they replied to me. By updating the build number/version the day limit, that you can reset counter. OSRS cellphone doesn't look much different to OSRS on PC. My guess is that OSRS did not desire to become. They got theirs out. And could have had different (and possibly less?) Challenges than the team that is RS3. RS3 had to think about the combat system also. Ability pubs, etc. So 60/90 day limitation and the 10k users did not disturb OSRS.
