The educational history and the experience of him is something worthwhile to check about. Starting with a first-class distinction in B.Engg in Electronics, The College of Engineering in 1999, he did a part time Executive MBA in Information Technology from 2000-03. These degrees were followed by some certifications. In 2003, he became a Cisco Certified Security Professional following which a Checkpoint Certified Security Expert from 2003-05. This was followed by International Information Systems Security Certification from 2008-10. He also became a Jupiter Networks Certified Internet Specialist in 2009. Later he got certification in CISM and CRISC from ISACA in 2010-11.

The professional experience of Kieran is also quite extraordinary from reputed firms. From being a Cyber Security Consultant in Dell in 1995-96, he has come a long way to become the leader of risk management. He was Cyber Security Consultant in Deloitte Consulting from 1996 to 1998, following which he moved on to Capgemini as Cyber Security Consultant from 1998-99. Later he became a Cyber Security Consultant in Heathrow from July 2000 to Dec 2005, a work that lasted for more than five years. He later worked in other reputed firms like BT – Global Services, IBM, RBS and Accenture as Security Consultant or Security Architect.
