The Gherkins (Duo) appear on All Together Now BBC 1

Kingston Upon Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire. City of Culture 2018 continues to produce its own unique twist on live entertainment. Dubbed as a modern-day Laurel and Hardy, this quirky green suited duo performs a broad range of familiar and favourite classics – blending harmonica and acoustic guitar with edgy vocals into each composition.

Once described as ‘Kermit the Frog meets Pavarotti’ The Gherkins – Glenn and Grant Davison are seriously seasoned musicians that love to entertain and never fail to get the audience engaged. Their appearance on All Together Now this weekend will put them to the ultimate test as they compete with other singing hopeful’s he*l-bent on raising ‘The 100’ to their feet.

The question is, will the Hull Born and Bred Brothers manage to move the judges from their ‘Thunderdome like perches! Whatever the outcome they are both confident that their choice of songs and visually exciting approach will put them in good stead to attract an audience for the future and have already positioned themselves firmly as an alternative act for weddings, funerals and divorce parties.
