About Winning Jah
Winning Jah was born in Nigeria in 1973 and his real name is Kingsley Eno Osagie. He started performing music at his early age, He was heavily inspired by the greats of the Reggae music and closely studied the work and lives of Reggae stars like Alpha Blondy, Fela Kuti, Jah Fakolay, Chaka Demus, Majek Fashek, Jah Cure, Baba Sissoko and of course the great Bob Marley himself. He believes one of the great qualities of Reggae is its ability to create social awareness. Since there was a deep humanitarian inside his own self, he wanted to do something not just for Reggae fans but people all around the world who need help. So he stopped pursuing commercial side of things and has since dedicated his concert earnings to those in need from uneducated children in Africa to those who need food and basic supplies the most. Winning Jah was born with severe disability, which reduced him to using wheelchair, outside his difficulty he never stopped his Joyful and evergreen songs.
