Dysmenorrhea is the most common gynecological disease among adolescents and young women, it is usually primary and related to normal ovulation cycle, without pelvic pathology.

Pelvic abnormalities, such as endometriosis or uterine abnormalities, account for about 10% of adolescents and young people with severe dysmenorrhea. Endometriosis refers to functional endometrial tissue outside the uterine cavity.

This occurs in up to 15% of menstrual women, mostly in the pelvis. However, it has been reported that endometrial implants exist in many unusual parts of the pelvis, including the abdominal wall.

The latter may invade the uterine cavity after operation, such as cesarean section, allowing endometrial tissue transplantation.

In a randomized controlled trial, women of childbearing age were included in the diagnosis of laparoscopic endometriosis and were compared with placebos, traditional therapies, non-therapies and TCM.

Twenty-four studies were identified as involving natural herbs in the treatment of endometriosis, including 100 participants, meeting all the criteria for inclusion.

According to the results of the study in the Guidelines for Clinical Research of New Chinese Medicine, the evidence to prove the effectiveness of herbal medicine in the treatment of endometriosis pain is limited.

Herbal medicine has significant advantages in alleviating symptoms associated with chronic diseases such as endometriosis, and it is also beneficial to the treatment of acute diseases such as acute stroke or endometriosis.

For example, plant herbal remedy such as Fuyan Pill is high recommended among endometriosis patients. It won't does any harm to your body because of the surgical treatment, because it's added or subtracted formula, and it won't produce drug resistance.
