Phantasy Star Online 2play is decent, I like that it has more action battle than many MMOs. Been loving it myself started playing the PC launch. Ran into a few issues and now I'm kinda just waiting on the spot to fix those issues to playing without the breaking me 42, so I can go back. As someone who never even acknowledged its presence until a couple months before, I am enjoying it nicely. It's kind of a lot and I'm a little lost in certain aspects, but it is pretty engaging so much better. This should hold me.

The Graphics is quite outdated, it seem like a 2000s match (perhaps because it is kinda is). Menu is confusing, even though I have already play with the JP version, I still get lost some in things and all of the menu. Doing pursuit for Dan (the old man in buying area) help a good deal since I get to explore all sort of option from the menus. The narrative is TRASH, this relies on my JP variant playtime, but the story is quite simple and cliche. After chapter 4, it's like a anime plot, although the last narrative arc may get better. Techincal issues in NA version, the Microsoft store is indeed bad. After I tried to play Sea Of Theives on it 2-3 decades ago, I know, but they haven't change a bit. Wish they include a steam version.

Having said all the above, I still very delight in the gameplay of PSO2, and having a tons of fun using it, below are some of it's finest stuff. The classes are fun, on JP variant I play with ranger and it is already pretty fun (it is a fairly simple course, you simply shoot pewpew, but it has some very cool moves), however on NA I try Bouncer out, and the Jet boot is super fun to play, it is fluid, it's gratifying and it require skills. And the best thing isyou can change class anytime you need, and you can cross out all class on a single Character, so the replay value is extremely high there (They have like 9 main classes and 3 softball courses which need you level up two of the major class to unlock).
