Top HR Experts Confirm Their Participation at Managing Local Talent Summit

Over 80 HR Professionals to participate at the 6th Annual Managing Local Talent Summit
 
Economic growth and diversification, driven by the employment of nationals, are set to accelerate in the years to come. With rapid infrastructure development plans in the pipeline coupled with initiatives from major energy players and other industries, the national youth stand to benefit from targeted recruitment campaigns and a plethora of employment opportunities.  What is more encouraging is the fact these organizations are not only focusing on recruitment strategies but also learning and development programs that are enabling growth and specialization in key sectors that serve the national economy.

The 6th Annual Managing Local Talent Summit, organised by Fleming Gulf, will delve in to nationalization challenges faced by HR professionals and also showcase innovative strategies being followed by the region's top organizations and government bodies. The summit's program aims to instil in participants the need for a successful HR strategy, in a way that is both relevant and practical to current issues, as well as to enable them to come up with not only the latest, but the also the best practices for their industry.

Developed under the theme 'Nationalisation 2.0 - Inspire, Connect, Develop and Contribute To The Growth of The Nation', a keynote presentation on 'Developing National Leaders for a Sustainable Future' by Dr. Kholode Al Obaidli, Vice President - National Talent Management - Qatar Airways and a presentation on 'Strategic Qatarization in Commercial Bank Qatar: Designing a Qatari Value Proposition (QVP)' by Sharoq Al Malki, Chief Human Capital Resource Officer - Commercial Bank of Qatar will highlight the opening day of the summit. An interactive panel discussion on 'Meeting Workforce Nationalization Expectations and Supporting Region‘s Growth' will see participants and speakers engage in a debate of vital importance.

Other presentations at the summit will include: 'Enabling the employment of Gulf Nationals across the GCC', orated by Alharith Alatawi, Chief Executive Officer of Khaljana; ' Emiratisation to 2021 –The Expo Effect or Mission Impossible?' by Essa Al Mulla, Chief - National Work Force Development Knowledge & Human Development Authority from Emirates National Development Program (ENDP) and 'QUADRU - Dimensional Career Decision Making Paradigm' delivered by Abdulla Al Mansoori, Director - Career Fair of Qatar Foundation. The summit takes place between 10 – 12 November, 2014 at Crowne Plaza, Doha-Qatar where over 80 HR professionals are expected to participate and take-away key insights and learning to aid in developing their own success stories.
