Global asset integrity leaders from leading oil, gas and petrochemical companies to discuss the latest technological advancements in the pipeline industry

Building and maintenance of pipeline infrastructure requires heavy investments and the risks involved are substantial. The oil and gas pipeline industry is under constant pressure for ensuring safe and reliable pipeline operations and fortifying unimpeded transportation of oil, gas and other products. Challenges faced by pipelines include internal and external corrosion, environmental hazards, third party damage and human errors to name a few.

To ensure safe and reliable pipeline integrity management systems, companies are reliant on advanced technologies and innovations in the field of pipeline integrity. EMAT inline inspections, tools for inspecting unpiggable pipelines, robotic crawlers, multipoint acoustic data, and combined ultrasonic inspection tools are some of the new methods being approached by pipeline integrity leaders.

Creating an ideal global platform to discuss these upcoming technologies, Fleming Gulf presents the 5th edition of the Global Pipeline Integrity and Technology summit to be held at Park Rotana in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The summit will gather asset integrity leaders from across the globe to deliberate on the latest developments in the oil and gas pipeline industry. Taking place on the 20 – 22 April 2015, the event will also include two post – conference technical workshops.

Based on the theme 'Technology that integrates Excellence', the power packed summit will showcase intriguing presentations, case studies and panel discussions on current advancements and future developments in the pipeline industry. Asset integrity leaders will deliberate upon various subjects such as pipeline protection and material selection, corrosion management, cross country pipeline management and Inspection Tools and Techniques.

Elaborating on the above subjects, the event will feature representatives from leading national and international oil and gas companies such as Shell Exploration, ADCO, ConocoPhillips, ExxonMobil and American Society of Non-destructive Testing sharing their knowledge and experiences.

The previous edition of the summit hosted over a 100 attendees from 18 different countries globally. Fathom Solutions and AP Sensing return to support the event along with Delair Tech as the Gold and Fotech Solutions as Bronze Sponsor this year.
