Angola may soon become the largest producer of oil in the African continent. In a recent article by Oil Review Africa, state owned Sonangol, Angola has decided to auction 10 national oil fields this year. Such a move will result in crucial investments by international companies, and for Angola, to build on it's infrastructure and other supporting industries. With the expected robust growth in the region, a rise in employment rates and the need to ensure a well set up Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) department will be of utmost importance.

Fleming Gulf's HSSE Angola Conference, officially supported by Sonangol, aims to propagate the need of maintaining a healthy workforce base coupled with safety measures that lead to sustainable work environments.
