Marc Rudder was one of the attendees at the 2nd edition of LatAm HSE Oil, Gas, Petrochemical & Energy Conference organised by Fleming Gulf. Keeping in mind the positive feedback recieved last year and the current need to prioritize worker's safety in oil, gas, petrochemical and energy industry, the 3rd Annual LatAm HSSE in Energy is scheduled to take place on 3-4 December 2014 at Windsor Atlantica Hotel, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.

The 2nd Annual kicked off with a key note address from H.E. Abd Elghani Elnaim Awad Elkarim, Ambassador of Sudan in Brazil, he spoke about the current state of the oil & gas companies in Sudan and highlighted the importance of Health, Safety & Environment in the Oil & Gas Industry. In association with Agência Nacional do Petróleo (ANP) and supported by Institute of Safety & Health Magazine & BEMAS, the attendees were apprised on technical aspects of an HSE Department and benefits of having a healthy employee base coupled with safety measures leading to a sustainable environment. Topics such as process safety, minimizing waste in the petroleum industry, a safety manager must be bilingual and many others were discussed at the
event.

The 3rd edition of the conference will not only emphasize on the need to prioritize workers health, safety but will also elaborate on the security aspect within the energy sector and ways to lessen risks associated with the industry.
