During my High school Years, our religion teacher reads us some stories from Jack Canfield's Chicken Soup for the Soul.

I never knew the value of it until I've encountered some people who really gets inspired by them. So simple, so short, yet so profound.

Sometime ago I've then decided to build my own collection of inspirational stories. I've grown fond of it. I also realized some thoughts about how they can be meaningful and how they can be a value to others.

1. A Good Read - An Inspirational Story is a good read. It can be entertaining. It can be mind boggling. It can be new. It can be a source of a new idea.

It is a good read, whether you are just browsing the net for something new or something to inspire you, a good inspirational story won't hurt.

2. Something to Inspire - These Stories give meaning to many people. They give hope. they Give motivation, a driving force in whatever we do.

An inspirational Story also gives us slices of life. They remind us of simple things in life that we're maybe forgetting.

These kind of stories can remind us of good values that we can adhere. It can remind us of compassion, of kindness, and of generosity.

These stories can also rekindle our child like hearts. To be free and to be happy again. To be friendly and open to new things.

3. Being of Value to Others - My idea of building a lone site for These Stories is that it will not just be for my benefit. Publishing meaningful stories and other materials on it would not just be a good read and an inspiration to me but also a good read and inspiration to others.

Helping other people in a small way. That is what a little dose of short story can do.

The good thing about the internet is that it is now easy to share the things we enjoy to other people. Inspiring other people by sending them our favorite

Stumbling upon a good and short story, read it, understand it. You may never know that it will also inspire you in at least a very little way. May that inspirational story also let you fire the souls of others, by sharing to your loved ones. You may never expect how much impact it may have. Who knows, some people may have big gratitude towards a simple share of an inspiring story.
