Soll das Videosignal auf einen großen Flachbild-Fernseher übertragen werden, lässt sich das komfortabel über einen HDMI-Anschluss realisieren.

Videos lassen sich über die Linse im 720p-Format aufnehmen. Kontakt zu externer Hardware stellt der mobile Rechner kabelgebunden über zwei USB-Port her, die beide den aktuellen Standard 3.0 unterstützen. Kabellose lässt sich Hardware via Bluetooth 4.0 verbinden. Für einen hohen Datendurchsatz im drahtlosen Netzwerk sorgt der aktuelle Standard WLAN 802.11a/b/g/n/ac.Unter den Bezeichnungen Acer Aspire VN7-791G-582W und Acer Aspire VN7-791G-759Q ist das neue 17,3 Zoll Gaming-Notebook des taiwanesischen Unternehmens aktuell auf einschlägigen Preisvergleich-Seiten gelistet. Grundsätzlich bleibt sich Sony seiner Design-Sprache treu, die mit dem Xperia Z letztes Jahr mit dem Sony Xperia Z als OmniBalance eingeführt wurde. Auf den Fotos ist unter anderem zu sehen, dass der japanische Hersteller weiterhin eine Kamera mit 20,7 Megapixeln Auflösung verbaut und auf ein Objektiv aus der G Lens Familie vertraut. Der Sensor kommt aus der Exmor RS Familie und besitzt eine Größe von mit 1/2,3“. Das LED-Blitzlicht sitzt nun allerdings mittiger im Gehäuse und auch das G Lens Logo ist auf die andere Seite der Kamera-Linse verschoben. Die Kamera-App und das Auslösen von Fotos erfolgt wie bei schon bei dessen Vorgänger mit Hilfe einer separaten Kamera-Taste. Ein Detail das es so nur noch bei Sony-Smartphones gibt.Auch bei der neuen Generation wird der Hersteller wieder auf ein IP-zertifiziertes Gehäuse setzen, was die Schutzklappen für MicroSD-Speicherkarten-Slot, SIM-Fach und den MicroUSB-Port andeuten. Vermutlich wird es sich wieder um Zertifizierungen nach den Standards IP55 und IP58 handeln.
