When it's all said and done, I've been a student of personal development journey for a while now and one of the basic lessons I've learned I can count on is that you can count on old truths. They pop up time and time again in just about every credible authors' or coaches' programs. I've also learned, through some tedious trial and error, that it's best for me (and no doubt you as well if you want to make lasting life change) to focus our own time and energy on the old truths. As the guru Jim Rohn quotes, "Don't search for the exotic until you've found the basic." I urge you to make that one of your own personal truths!
