The journey of JMD Medico began in the year April 2016 with a vision to improve people’s quality of life with alternative medicines primarily Ayurvedic Medicines.

The Chairman’s Story Leading to JMD Medico
The Chairman Mr. Jagdish Prasad Purohit has been through lot of ups and downs both professionally and personally over his life span. Learnings from his experiences in life has always brought the best out of him. One such incidence or experience in life was when his wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was quite a setback for him and the family. It was physically and mentally daunting to deal with and the recovery process seemed never ending. But the simultaneous care and post care through home remedies and Ayurvedic medicines showed miraculous results and the recovery was very fast.

“My wife could sail through the impact of surgery and chemo with ease as we did follow home remedies as well like fresh wheatgrass juice, Amla Juice, healthy diet, also she did calming yoga, magnet therapy etc. We also took a few Ayurvedic treatments like Panchakarma, Complete body detox and cleansing. Mr. Purohit lives in a joint family where almost 20 people live together. So one or the other person is sick at some point in time in a month mainly common cold, cough and flu. He is of the opinion that too much of allopathic medicines did more harm to them then cure. So the entire family swears by old grandmother’s home recipes for cure.

The Idea of JMD Medico
The above experiences as stated by Mr. Purohit got him thinking about making healthcare affordable and that medicines should have minimum side effects. Medicines are meant to cure a person’s illness rather than making the patient’s condition worse. That is when Ayurvedic Medicines came to his mind and was born JMD MEDICO SERVICES LTD.,
Mr Purohit has already been a part of many successful businesses and is hoping JMD Medico to be one of them and he aims at making JMD Medico synonymous for Ayurvedic products in Health care, Hair care, Skin care and general body care.

Ayurved is an ancient India concept. It originated from the forests of India when a few learned people understood the importance of treating diseases with all things freely available in nature that is plants, water, sun, mud, etc. Ayurved is a science of life. One of the principles of Ayurved is that life is eternal. So we can safely conclude that the Ayurved science is Eternal. According to Charaka Samhita Ayurveda is Eternal because it has no beginning and no end, it deals with things which are inherent in nature and nature is eternal . Ayurveda originated before or around 6000.BC. There is a lot of awareness about Ayurvedic products and its effects today and JMD Medico would like to capitalize on that awareness and become a household name for all health and body related problems.
