What Online Quran Classes Can Teach You About The Coronavirus Pandemic?
For millions of Muslims, the Coronavirus pandemic has changed, is changing, and will change how everything is done from now on. While you are still pursuing the news of how many people are infected daily, do not forget what the Quran and Hadith say about a pandemic and how best to handle it.
Muslims leaving in Islamic territories understand the need to be home in the face of a pandemic or disease. As part of the Islamic faith or believing in destiny regardless of the outcome, Muslims should realize that there is no disease of any source that Allah SWT has not a remedy for it.

While it might take a long time to get the right dose and treatment, be rest assured that Allah has your best interest at heart? The tragedy of the Coronavirus hit hard in western countries, cases of upward to a million in the US, over 23,000 deaths in the UK with Canada imposing stricter lockdown, and Australia easing gradually into the new normal.

The question is how have Muslims fared in all of this? Well, if you are following the news, not too well. It has had a devastating blow on the Muslim Ummah as every activity that makes a Muslim has been shut down or halted due to the pandemic.
But not to worry, online Quran classes are rescuing Muslims that cannot seem to understand the lockdown or come to terms with it.

Before we proceed, a Hadith by Sahih Al-Bukhari reported the prophet say; “If you hear of an outbreak of plague in a land, do not enter it; if the plague breaks out in a place while you are in it, do not leave that place.”
This is the prophet’s instruction and a Hadith that every Muslim must emulate. Do not let the lockdown or quarantine or stay-at-home affect your mental health, enroll in an online Quran class at www.learnquran.online today.

If you live in the US, the UK, Canada, and Australia, this is your chance to improve your Quran knowledge, perfect your Tajweed, attain Taqwa, and solidify your iman.

The Coronavirus pandemic and your Islamic faith
This year has seen many traditions of Islam stopped or partially halted due to the pandemic. For one, Muslims cannot gather for any celebration, including prayers. In fact, the Kingdom stopped the lesser Hajj or Umrah this year to mitigate the spread of the disease.
Other Muslim countries followed suit, shutting down mosques, banning all Friday prayers and congregations, closing the doors to religious places of worship and shrines, and halting any gathering that will in any way cause the pandemic to spread.

While some Muslims protested against it, others took it by faith and stayed at home. Countries that felt Allah was the decider of their faith urged Muslims to come to the mosque with their prayer mats and maintain physical distancing in the mosque.

However, as Muslims, we should believe and see every challenge in life as a test.
Suratul Baqarah verse 155 -157 says
“And WE will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient.”
“Who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him, we will return."
“Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the [rightly] guided”.

The above verse depicts the pandemic and the suffering that we are all facing, and for the Muslim, this is a time to strengthen you Iman and draw closer to your creator.

How can you do this – through online Quran classes?
We cannot bring back the lives that have dead or change the situation of what is presently happening, but through online Quran classes, Muslims have a better chance of understanding the pandemic and how to overcome it.
Social distancing and the stay-at-home order
One of the greatest blows to Muslims was the idea of social distancing (physical distancing). This meant a lot of things and received backlash from many communities, especially Muslim populated ones. They cited religion as a reason why this cannot work in Islam.

However, the Hadith of the Prophet is reported saying, “Do not put a sick person with a healthy person. Do not let a sick person compromise the health status of the community”. In fact, this particular teaching, the prophet extended it to livestock too. Take the sick away from the healthy. Sahih Al-Bukhari

The prophet SAW was absolutely clear on diseases, and how humans should behave around them. The Coronavirus is no different, let’s respect the Quran, Hadith, and stay at home.
Implementing better hygiene procedures

Al Tirmidhi reported the prophet Muhammad said, “Use your right hand for pure things and left for impure things”. This is to emphasize the importance of cleanliness in Islam. When you register for online Quran classes, you will be taught the importance of ablution and how to perform it properly.

Furthermore, the Quran cannot be handled without attaining cleanliness via ablution. So if you are in the US, the UK, Canada, and Australia, a reliable online Quran Class will teach you all these and more, especially as we try to come to terms with the pandemic.

Why are online Quran Classes essential to Muslims?
The Quran is the center and pillar of faith to every Muslim. It is a must that it be recited daily. In fact, it should be read before and after the five daily prayers. However, how will a Muslim learn the proper way without been in class?

To safeguard Muslims in foreign countries that do not have access to Islamic schools or live far away from a mosque, online Quran classes are changing the atmosphere. Through these sessions, Muslims have access to prized Islamic literature and tutors to gain deeper insight into the teachings and message of Allah SWT and the Prophet Muhammad’s Hadith.
