During the spring season, people taken on a number of jobs related to their yard or home, and sometimes these activities can take a toll on a body. While some minor aches and pains can go away on their own, there are other types of problems that may only get better after a visit to the chiropractor.

The chiropractors at Midwest Chiropractic treat musculoskeletal disorders related to the whole body. These disorders could affect mobility, flexibility, strength, mental health, and the immune system, in addition to contributing to a number of other conditions.

When you visit our practice, we can check to see if you have any spinal misalignments. These misalignments, also called subluxations, could harm your body's natural communication system. They could prevent your brain from being able to properly send signals to the rest of your body. If we do notice anything of concern, we'll be sure to let you know and can use various techniques to restore your alignment.

At our practice, we focus on prevention. We recommend that many of our patients receive regular check-ups to make sure that we can prevent problems from getting worse. Some of our patients return every six months, every six weeks, or once a month to make sure that they're doing what they can to stay healthy and strong.

Whether you have an acute problem or want us to provide continuing care, we can talk about things you can do at home to improve your health. Doing strength and cardiovascular exercises, having a well-balanced diet, and maintaining a good posture can all contribute to your well-being. Taking part in stress-reducing activities like yoga and stretching are also helpful. Since the top three causes of spinal misalignment are physical movements, chemical toxins, and stress, changing your habits can make a big difference in how you feel.
