ISBR Bangalore organized its Mega-Intercollegiate Fest, Abhyudaya 2k18 on 11th April 2018. ISBR welcomed dignitaries from different walks of life to grace the special occasion. The program commenced with a welcome address delivered by Prof. Nanaiah, Director- Corporate Interaction, ISBR. Mr. Salim E.A, Managing Director, Sunikh Components Pvt. Ltd. was the Chief Guest for the event and Ms. Mansi Aurora, Manager – Marketing & Sales, Svenska Design Hotels was the Guest of Honour. In his address, Mr. Salim congratulated all the students who worked day and night for the fest. Based on his experiences, he asked students to make amends, explores opportunities, take risks and turn situations in your favour and always keep moving forward. Reminiscing her college days, Ms. Mansi said, "Being here took me back to my college days and made me wish to live those days again.” Encouraging students, she said, “Keep yourself surrounded by successful people in order to grow in life, respect human values and always have the hunger for knowledge. In short, be dressed for success.”

The Presidential Address was delivered by Mr. Manish Kothari, Managing Director – ISBR, where he shared experiences from his college days when he used to be a part of the organizing team of the college fest along with his friends. He told students," You can learn only by doing things and setting your heart into it." The partner for the event was Lenskart.com and co-partners was Xoxoday. The event was a huge success as a result of the cumulative hard work by students, teaching and non-teaching staff. The purpose of the event was to provide a recreational break to the students and at the same time provide them a platform to showcase their talents. A wide range of management and cultural activities were planned and organized for the students. To test the leadership and organization skills of the students, management-related events such as Corporate Roadies, Finance Speculates, Marketing Maestros, HR Stalwarts, Bezopedia and Photography were organized whereas the cultural part of Abhyudaya 2k18 included Singing, Group Dance, Solo Dance, Beat Boxing, Battle of Bands and Fashion Show. The performance by the talented students kept the entertainment quotient high for the audience. Abhyudaya received a tremendous response which is a good source of encouragement for the ISBR organizing committee.
