Singapore is considered to be an educationally oriented nation internationally. It's academic curriculum, and exam requirements are infamously complex, which explains why its local exams are also held globally as a standard. However, with the education level growing each year, it is becoming increasingly difficult for parents and students to keep up and schools need time to adapt and develop their method to become more comprehensive and more appropriate. It is no wonder that Singapore's tuition industry is a billion dollar market.

Why in-home tuition? Next, there's a high demand and desire for tuition, as schools sometimes don't have enough to do enough for students. A big problem with schools is that it adopts a one-size-fits-all approach, and it is difficult for school teachers to provide individual attention to children of up to 40 students in a single class. Children with different learning styles than the rest and sometimes left out, and this is where tuition at home is so important because a tutor at home will offer customised instruction to help the child achieve its full learning potential.

How about Centers for Education? Many tuition centres don't provide one-to-one tuition, but rather a small community tuition of about five to ten. Such an arrangement does have its benefits, but most students seeking tuition simply learn better when they are alone. In reality, having community tuition defeats the entire goal of pursuing tuition in the first place.
