Who are we?

Good People in Bad Places, is a free inmate pen pal website that offers the outside world to connect with those behind the bars. We believe that not all people are bad; it is only that sometimes they tend to make bad decisions on the spur of the moment and land up in prison. However, this does not mean that they cannot get a second chance at life. Our mission is to connect these inmates to the outside world and make them better human beings so that when they are released they can contribute to the community in a positive way.

Our Mission

We at Good People in Bad Places believe that if a person is given the opportunity and is shown the right path, he/she can mend his/her old ways and come out to be a better individual. With this intention in mind, we have created this prison dating website. There might be several prison pen pal websites but not all can be relied upon.

We provide a genuine and authentic platform to those individuals from the society that wish to connect with the inmates. We give the opportunity to write letters to prisoners in strict accordance with the law. This way, you not only show your compassion towards the inmates but also your humane side to the society. When the inmates are released, they know that they have a friend in you.
