Ende vergangenen Jahres stellte Huawei seine eigene Face ID-Technologie vor. Bisher fand diese aber nicht den Weg in eines der Top-Smartphones des Herstellers. Mit dem Huawei Mate 20 Pro soll sich das angeblich ändern. Betrachtet man die Notch genauer, so ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit hoch, dass Huawei das Mate 20 Pro mit genau so einer solchen 3D-Gesichtserkennung ausstatten wird.

Zwar ist Face ID eine von Apple entwickelte und eingesetzte Technik, Huawei stellte aber Ende letztes Jahr eine ähnliche Technologie vor. Das kommende High-End-Phablet soll laut einschlägiger Gerüchte diese 3D-Gesichtserkennung erhalten, was nun neue Bilder zu bestätigen scheinen, die GSMArena veröffentlichte.
